SpaceX's third-quarter revenue increased by 161 percent: Company reports $4.4 billion in net profit

SpaceX increased its revenue by 161 percent in the third quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year, reaching $14.6 billion. The company had generated $5.6 billion in revenue in the July-September period of 2025.

The most notable increase in the balance sheet of the company, which went public in June, was recorded in the artificial intelligence sector. SpaceX's revenue from its artificial intelligence segment reached $7.6 billion, an 830 percent increase on an annual basis.

Connectivity segment revenues rose by 69 percent in the same period to $5.2 billion. Revenue from space operations increased by 6 percent to $1.8 billion.

NET PROFIT EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

SpaceX announced a net profit of $4.4 billion in the third quarter. The company had reported a net loss of $1.05 billion in the same period last year. Earnings per share were calculated at 35 cents; a loss of 36 cents per share was recorded in the same period last year.

According to the balance sheet data, both the company's revenue and profitability exceeded market expectations. While total capital expenditures reached $19.6 billion in the third quarter, capital expenditures allocated to artificial intelligence investments exceeded $16 billion.

It was reported that SpaceX carried out 113 launches in the first nine months of the year. While the number of Starlink satellites in orbit exceeded 11 thousand, the number of countries with Starlink coverage rose to 174.

The number of Starlink subscribers, which was 12 million at the end of June, reached 13.6 million as of the end of September. It was also noted that the company used the term "super intelligence" instead of artificial intelligence in its balance sheet statement.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk predicted at the investor conference where financial results were discussed that annual revenue could reach a range of $500 billion to $1 trillion by the end of 2027.
