SpaceX shares start the week under downward pressure: Losses exceed 4 percent in pre-market trading

SpaceX shares are preparing for a weak start to the first trading day of the week. The stock, which fell more than 4 percent in pre-market trading in US markets, is thus trending toward recording a decline for the third consecutive session.

Pressure on the stock was also evident last week. The company's shares lost more than 8 percent of their value in total on Wednesday and Thursday. Despite this, as of Thursday's close, the stock was still trading 37 percent above its initial public offering price of 135 dollars.

This pricing brought SpaceX's market value to approximately 2.4 trillion dollars. Despite the high level of valuation, recent trades indicate that investors are repricing short-term risks.

KeyBanc, in its assessment of the stock, stated that the return potential and downside risks appear balanced in the short term. This outlook shows that a more cautious market approach has come to the fore following the sharp rise in the stock.
