Statement from BOTAŞ: Will there be a natural gas price hike in September?
The Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) has announced that there has been no change in the sales tariffs for natural gas used by residential and industrial subscribers, as well as gas used for electricity generation, as of September.
According to the tariff table published on the BOTAŞ website, the tariffs for residential and industrial subscribers, as well as the tariff for electricity generation, will remain unchanged for natural gas starting in September.
Accordingly, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in September has been announced as 5 thousand 631 Turkish Lira per 1000 cubic meters of natural gas.
The tariff determined for bread producers has been set at 8 thousand 549 Turkish Lira per 1000 cubic meters of natural gas.
For the electricity generation tariff, the price of 1000 cubic meters of natural gas was announced as 12 thousand Turkish Lira.
