Statement on 5,000 lira bonus from AKP's Elitaş

Touring the Urgancılar Bazaar in the historic Covered Bazaar, Elitaş chatted with tradespeople and citizens, listening to their problems.

Elitaş also inspected the Gön Inn, located in the Urgancılar Bazaar, where restoration work is ongoing, and received information about the progress from Melikgazi Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu.

Speaking to members of the press there, Elitaş said that by restoring the historic structures left to them by their ancestors, they are fulfilling their debt to future generations.

Stating that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced yesterday that retirees who continue to work will also benefit from the 5,000 lira bonus, Elitaş said, "Our President gave the good news to everyone regarding the one-time 5,000 lira bonus given in memory of the centennial to nearly 4 million 700 thousand people. May it be beneficial and auspicious for our tradespeople and our farmers engaged in the agricultural sector."

Elitaş was accompanied on his visit by AK Party Kayseri Deputy Şaban Çopuroğlu, Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, AK Party Provincial Chairman Fatih Üzüm, and district mayors.
