Surprise discount on gasoline
In the fuel market, where exchange rates and international developments are influential, vehicle owners have been given good news of a discount this time. While diesel and LPG prices remain unchanged, the price per liter of gasoline has been reduced.
Fuel prices frequently change due to fluctuations in global oil prices and volatility in the foreign exchange market. In recent days, protests in Iran and statements regarding potential intervention from the US had caused movement in crude oil prices.
Gasoline prices had risen following a price hike of 1 lira and 61 kuruş implemented yesterday. However, with a new regulation that went into effect as of midnight, a discount was applied this time.
There was a decrease of 95 kuruş in the price per liter of gasoline starting from midnight. While there were no price changes in the diesel and autogas groups, the discounts were reflected only on gasoline.

The prices updated at fuel stations in the following hours were determined as follows:
- On the European side of Istanbul, the price per liter of gasoline was announced as 54.00 TL, diesel as 54.86 TL, and LPG as 29.29 TL.
