TAB Gıda goes public: The largest in history in Turkish Lira
Having received approval from the Capital Markets Board (SPK) for its initial public offering, TAB Gıda will reach the title of the largest IPO in history in terms of Turkish Lira with 6 billion 825 million lira once the transactions are completed.
The Capital Markets Board (SPK) has approved the IPO application of TAB Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ. Accordingly, a total of 52.5 million TL worth of shares will be subject to the public offering, consisting of 28 million 875 thousand TL in shares created during the capital increase of the existing 232 million 417 thousand TL capital to 261 million 292 thousand TL, and 23 million 625 thousand TL in nominal value Group B shares belonging to the existing shareholder TFI TAB Gıda Yatırımları AŞ. Shares with a nominal value of 1 TL will be offered for sale at a fixed price of 130.00 TL.
According to the report in Ekonomim, TAB Gıda will hold the title of the largest IPO in history in terms of Turkish Lira with 6 billion 825 million lira once the public offering processes are completed.
