Tarım Kredi Kooperatif Marketleri has changed its name

The markets operating under the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives (Türkiye Tarım Kredi Kooperatifleri) are drawing attention with their name change and new brand identity. The new brand, introduced as "KOOP Market," was announced to the public at a press conference. The meeting was attended by Tarım Kredi Holding Board and Executive Committee Member Yılmaz Bademli and Tarım Kredi KOOP Market General Manager Şevket Varol Halepli, along with many other executives and guests.

In his statement, General Manager Şevket Varol Halepli said, "Our markets, which serve under the umbrella of the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, will continue their operations under the name KOOP Market as of today." Halepli noted that during this transformation process, which began approximately six months ago, old logos have been replaced at newly opened or renovated stores.

Halepli emphasized that KOOP Market is a structure that delivers products directly from the producer to the consumer without intermediaries. "We are not just a market; we are the final link in the Agricultural Credit Cooperatives ecosystem," said Halepli, stating that they serve with 2,356 KOOP Markets and have reached a total of 4,500 sales points. Stating that they aim to continue growing in 2026, Halepli announced that their new commercial films will be broadcast soon.

NEW CONCEPT AND GOALS

Tarım Kredi Holding Board and Executive Committee Member Yılmaz Bademli drew attention to the importance of the "End-to-End Model." "We have a model that extends from the seed in the field to the consumer's fork," said Bademli, while discussing the support provided to farmers. Stating that they view 2025 as a year of investment, Bademli emphasized that transparency and innovation are necessary to meet consumer expectations.

Bademli said they plan to open 150 additional stores with the new concept in 2026 and will close this year with 4,500 stores. He also added that they have growth targets in Istanbul and Anatolia.

ZERO WASTE PROJECT

Stating that they have established filling stations as part of the Zero Waste Campaign, Bademli said, "Citizens can bring their plastic or glass containers and fill them with products such as milk or oil." He announced that this practice, currently available in four stores, will be expanded to ten stores next year. He expressed that consumer interest in this project is high and that they are offering an environmentally conscious shopping experience.

Stating that consumer expectations have changed alongside Tarım Kredi's rapid growth, Bademli said, "With our new name and concept, we will continue to offer the highest quality products at the most affordable prices."
