Tea prices hiked: Wholesale prices increased
ÇAYKUR has implemented an average price increase of 10 percent on dry tea sales, effective as of April 8.
As the countdown continues for the new fresh tea season in Turkey, a significant development regarding tea prices has occurred.
According to a report by Bloomberg HT, the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR) has announced a decision to increase the wholesale prices of dry tea products. As part of this move, an average increase of 10 percent will be applied to dry tea prices.
The new price lists created with the hike decision have been sent to wholesale dealers and distributors. It was reported that the price increase, which covers all varieties of dry tea, will be effective starting from April 8.
