The company that won the Çayırhan Thermal Power Plant tender has been announced
Akçadağ İnşaat Enerji Madencilik Anonim Şirketi won the tender for the Çayırhan Thermal Power Plant and Mining Site in the Nallıhan district of Ankara with a bid of 20 billion TL.
The tender held for the privatization of the Çayırhan Thermal Power Plant and Mining Site has concluded. Akçadağ İnşaat Enerji Madencilik Anonim Şirketi secured the operating rights for the mining site until 2059 with its bid of 20 billion liras.
Miners in Çayırhan had carried out a 100-day resistance prior to the tender to express their opposition to the privatization process. Two days before the tender took place, the miners staged a notable protest by locking themselves inside the mining site.
