The date is set: A major hike in diesel prices is on the way
The embargo imposed by the US on Russian oil giants is affecting fuel prices in Turkey. As of Thursday night, there will be a 2.5 TL increase in diesel prices.
The US embargo on major Russian oil producers such as Rosneft and Lukoil has led to fluctuations in fuel prices worldwide. In Turkey, this situation has caused diesel prices to rise. Fuel industry sources announced that there will be a 2.5 TL increase per liter of diesel as of Thursday night.
Economist İris Cibre stated that refinery profit margins are constantly rising and these increases are reflected to consumers as price hikes. Cibre pointed out that diesel prices will rise even further with the hike that will be effective as of Friday.

- Ankara: 55.77 TL/L
