The gong will ring for TAB Gıda at Borsa Istanbul today
Shares of TAB Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., which held its initial public offering (IPO) between October 18 and 20, will begin trading on Borsa Istanbul today.
The IPO of TAB Gıda reached a size of 6.8 billion TL based on the 52,500,000 TL nominal value shares sold at a fixed price of 130 TL. Thus, TAB Gıda has set a record in terms of IPO size in TL. While the TAB Gıda IPO attracted intense interest from participants, the company also set a record in terms of the number of participants, with distribution made to a total of 4,943,543 investors.
While 80% of TABGD shares were allocated to individual investors and group employees, 20% were distributed to domestic institutional investors. Accordingly, the number of shares distributed to individual investors was 8 - 9 lots.
In a statement made by Borsa Istanbul, it was announced that TAB Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. will begin trading on the Star Market starting today under the ticker symbol TABGD.E. TABGD shares will start the day at a base price of 130 TL, and the maximum order value in the relevant sequence has been set at 1,000,000 TL.
