The Mint announces: Has the production of quarter and gram gold stopped?
The General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House has issued a statement regarding claims that the production of quarter gold and gram gold has been halted.
The General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House has announced that there is no question of stopping the production of Republic gold coins and gram gold.
In the statement made by the Mint, it was noted that unfounded reports have appeared in some media outlets "claiming that the production of quarter and gram gold has been stopped."
Emphasizing that there is no halt in the production of Republic gold coins and gram gold, the statement included the following:
"There is no change in the production of 22-karat Republic gold coins (quarter, half, full, etc.) currently being produced by the Mint. As for the minted gold known in the market as gram gold, it will continue to be produced as 24-karat gold, in weights ranging from a minimum of 1 gram to a maximum of 100 grams, by refineries authorized for establishment/production by the Ministry. In this context, no news that has not been verified at its source and contains manipulative content should be given any credence."
