DETAILS OF THE PALACE'S EXPENDITURES
In the first five months of 2024, the total expenditure of the Presidential Palace reached 4 billion 984 million TL.
As reported by Havva Gümüşkaya from BirGün, this represents a 227 percent increase in just the first five months of the year, more than triple the 1 billion 523 million TL spent during the same period last year.
The 1 billion 158 million TL expenditure in May 2024 points to a figure higher than the total for the entirety of last year.
THE PALACE'S 2024 BUDGET
While the 2024 budget allocation for the Presidential Palace was set at 12 billion 283 million TL, this figure rose to 15 billion 953 million TL with various additional appropriations.
