The province with the highest increase in housing prices has been announced
In Turkey, housing prices rose by 0.95% on a monthly basis in July, recording a 32.8% increase annually. However, in real terms, prices declined by 0.5%. The differing trends in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir drew attention.
The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI), which increased by 0.95 percent in July 2025 compared to the previous month, showed a nominal increase of 32.8 percent compared to the same month of the previous year; in real terms, a decrease of 0.5 percent was recorded.
According to the report released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), the Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) (2023=100), calculated to monitor quality-adjusted price changes of residences in Turkey, increased by 0.9 percent in July 2025 compared to the previous month, reaching a level of 187.7.
The RPPI, which increased by 32.8 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, showed a decrease of 0.5 percent in real terms during the same period.
WHICH PROVINCE SAW THE HIGHEST INCREASE?
In July 2025, increases of 0.6 percent and 1.2 percent were observed in Istanbul and Ankara, respectively, compared to the previous month, while a decrease of 1.0 percent was observed in Izmir. Compared to the same month of the previous year, index values increased by 33.5 percent, 42.9 percent, and 31.0 percent in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, respectively.
