The BIST 100 index saw a low of 12,817.01 and a high of 14,355.46 points during the week, finishing the week at 13,284.42 points, 8.18 percent below the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar decreased by 0.06 percent this week to 6,826 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold fell by 0.09 percent to 44,450 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 11,190 liras last weekend, decreased by 0.14 percent to 11,174 liras.
This week, the US dollar rose by 0.36 percent to 48.7810 liras, while the Euro fell by 0.91 percent to 55.9580 liras.
Investment funds lost 2.57 percent and pension funds lost 1.74 percent in value this week.
When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Money Market Funds" with a gain of 0.65 percent.
