The week's top performer in the markets has been determined
Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul were the best-performing asset for investors this week, posting a 3.38 percent gain.
This week, stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 3.38 percent on a weekly basis, providing returns to investors. The BIST 100 index recovered from its weekly low of 10,585.34 points to reach a high of 11,038.75 points, closing the week at 10,922.86 points.
In the gold market, the gram price of 24-karat bullion gold rose by 0.89 percent to 5,568 liras. Republic gold also saw a similar increase, rising to 37,558 liras. The selling price of quarter gold reached 9,327 liras, an increase of 0.90 percent.
In the foreign exchange market, the US dollar rose by 0.26 percent to 42.4440 liras, while the euro fell by 0.74 percent to 48.9370 liras.
Investment funds gained 0.47 percent this week, while pension funds gained 1.11 percent. Among investment funds, the top performers were "stock" funds with a 2.07 percent gain.
