The week's top-performing investment vehicle has been revealed! Neither gold nor foreign currency
The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul ended the week with an 8.89 percent increase, becoming the top-performing vehicle for investors.
The BIST 100 index, traded on Borsa Istanbul, recovered from its weekly low of 10,264.25 points to reach a high of 11,297.44 points, closing the week at 11,294.48 points. This performance resulted in an 8.89 percent gain for the index compared to the previous week.
In the gold market, the selling price of gram gold rose by 0.37 percent to 4,875 liras, while the Republic gold coin increased by 0.36 percent to reach 32,912 liras. Quarter gold also traded at 8,165 liras, marking a 0.36 percent increase.
Regarding foreign exchange rates, the dollar closed the week with a slight increase of 0.03 percent at 41.3800 liras, while the euro gained 0.39 percent to rise to 48.6980 liras.
Investment funds gained 2.89 percent on a weekly basis, while individual pension funds showed an increase of 3.14 percent. These data reveal that investors achieved gains across various vehicles.
