TOBB data: Number of closed companies increased by 12.3 percent in October
According to TOBB data, the number of newly established companies in Turkey rose by 1.3 percent in October compared to the previous month, reaching 11,124, while the number of closed companies increased by 12.3 percent to 2,246.
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has announced the statistics for newly established and closed companies for the month of October.
According to the data, the number of newly established companies in October rose by 1.3 percent compared to September, increasing from 10,978 to 11,124. In the same period, the number of closed companies increased by 12.3 percent to 2,246. In September, 2,000 companies had closed.
In October, the number of newly established companies decreased by 10.6 percent compared to the same month last year, while the number of closed companies showed an increase of 31.7 percent.
