TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu comments on 'public sector savings'

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu shared his assessments on his social media account regarding the 'Public Savings and Efficiency Package' announced to the public by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek.

Stating that the fight against inflation should be the top priority for all of Turkey and that budget discipline must support this struggle, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "In this context, we find the Public Savings and Efficiency Package announced by Vice President Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek to be positive. It is a step taken in the right direction. This package can be further strengthened with additional measures to be taken, reform steps stated to be announced in the coming period, and the establishment of a monitoring system. I wish the announced savings and efficiency package to be beneficial for our country and our nation."
