TPAO granted 5-year exploration licenses for 18 fields in 14 provinces
TPAO has been granted oil exploration licenses for 18 fields across 14 provinces. It was also decided to proceed with expropriation for some of the company's fields in certain cities.
The General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources' decision regarding petroleum rights has been published in today's issue of the Official Gazette.
5-YEAR LICENSE FOR 18 FIELDS
Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has received oil exploration licenses for 18 fields in various provinces for a period of 5 years.
Accordingly, TPAO has been granted oil exploration licenses for a total of 18 fields located in Gaziantep, Antalya, Çanakkale, Şanlıurfa, Zonguldak, Diyarbakır, Hakkari, Bartın, Karabük, Kastamonu, Elazığ, Edirne, Kahramanmaraş, and Kilis.
Furthermore, it was decided to proceed with expropriation for TPAO's fields located in Diyarbakır, Batman, Siirt, Tekirdağ, and Kırklareli.
