Stock market warning from Trabzonspor: Manipulation allegations on the agenda

Trabzonspor Sportif Yatırım ve Futbol İşletmeciliği Ticaret A.Ş. has warned investors following notable price movements in TSPOR subscription rights coupons on the stock market in recent days. The statement from the club indicated that certain groups have been causing losses for small investors through manipulative transactions.

Within the scope of the capital reduction and increase process initiated on June 19, 2025, the reference price for TSPOR subscription rights was set at 3.45 TL, and the main share price at 1.5933 TL. However, with the start of the trading process, unusual price volatility was observed, particularly in the subscription rights coupon market. The statement noted that some groups have been intentionally lowering the value of these coupons, collecting them at low prices, and then selling the shares obtained from these coupons on the main board to generate high profits.

It was emphasized that this situation has led to a loss of value in TSPOR shares and that small investors have been victimized. Investors were reminded that they should consult with their brokerage firm's customer representatives before trading subscription rights coupons.

Trabzonspor announced to the public that necessary steps will be taken regarding the manipulative transactions and that a criminal complaint will be filed with the Capital Markets Board (SPK) against the brokerage firms and groups organizing these unusual price movements.
