Trading on margin banned for 5 stocks on the stock exchange
Borsa Istanbul has announced that, in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board (SPK), a one-month ban on margin trading has been imposed on five stocks under the Volatility-Based Measures System (VBTS).
According to the statement made by Borsa Istanbul to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that a ban on margin trading has been imposed on the shares of five companies until the end of the session on December 29, within the scope of the VBTS, which was activated in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board (SPK).
The statement included the following: "Within the scope of the Volatility-Based Measures System (VBTS) activated in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board, the shares of AVGYO.E, AZTEK.E, COSMO.E, EKOS.E, and PAPIL.E will not be subject to margin trading from the transactions dated 30/11/2023 (beginning of the session) until the transactions dated 29/12/2023 (end of the session)."
