Traffic insurance premium increase rate has been determined!
The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK) has set the maximum premium increase for compulsory traffic insurance to be applied in July at 3.5 percent.
The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK) has published a circular announcing the increase rate for Highway Motor Vehicles Compulsory Financial Liability Insurance (compulsory traffic insurance) premiums.
The circular states, "Article 1- In accordance with the 2nd paragraph of the provisional 11th article of the regulation on tariff application principles for Highway Motor Vehicles Compulsory Financial Liability Insurance, published in the Official Gazette dated 14/07/2007 and numbered 26582, the maximum premiums applied according to vehicle group and usage type in June 2024 shall be increased by 3.5 percent for July 2024."
According to the circular, the application will be effective as of July 1.
