Transportation fare hike in Bursa
BURULAŞ has announced its new increased fare schedule for public transportation. The full fare ticket price, which was 26 liras, has risen to 35 liras.
The increased fare schedule implemented by BURULAŞ, a subsidiary of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, went into effect as of July 7.
According to the new schedule, fares for BursaRay, buses, trams, and private public bus lines have been redefined. With the new hike, the full ticket price, which was 26 liras, has become 35 liras, while the student ticket price has increased from 6.5 liras to 8.5 liras.
BursaRay and bus fares are as follows:
"Full ticket fares (single ride): BursaRay (1 stop) 8.5 liras, BursaRay (6-11 stops) 26.5 liras, BursaRay normal line 35 liras, feeder lines 31 liras, short-line buses 33 liras, long-line buses 44 liras, tram (T1, T2, T3) 27.5 liras, private ring lines 26.5 liras."
Student tickets have been adjusted as follows:
"Student ticket fares (single ride): BursaRay (central line) 8.75 liras, feeder lines 7.75 liras, short-line bus 8.25 liras, long-line bus 11 liras, tram (T1, T2, T3) 6.90 liras, private ring 6.5 liras."
