Treasury announces domestic and foreign debt of SOEs: 692 billion 680 million TL as of the 2nd quarter
The debt stock of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and organizations in the privatization program at current prices reached 692 billion 680 million 477 thousand liras as of the second quarter of this year.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has announced the stock debt of SOEs and organizations in the privatization program at current prices as of the second quarter of 2024.
Accordingly, the total domestic debt of these organizations was 572 billion 48 million 378 thousand liras, while their foreign debt was 120 billion 632 million 99 thousand liras. Thus, the total debt stock amounted to 692 billion 680 million 477 thousand liras.
Within the domestic debt, the largest item was the debt of official departments at 202 billion 770 million 628 thousand liras, followed by the debts of real/legal persons at 159 billion 715 million 240 thousand liras, and the debts of commercial banks at 140 billion 110 million 649 thousand liras.
