Treasury borrows 28.6 billion lira in 2 auctions

In the first auction, an 11-month (336-day) zero-coupon treasury bill was reissued. The simple interest rate in the auction was 47.12 percent, and the compound interest rate was 47.88 percent.

In the auction where the nominal bid reached 21 billion 472.2 million lira, the nominal sale was 9 billion 694.2 million lira, and the net sale was 6 billion 755.5 million lira.

In the auction where the entire 3 billion lira bid from the public sector was met, 3 billion 712.8 million lira in bids were received from market makers, and 2 billion 250 million lira in sales were made to this segment.

In the second auction, the first issuance of a 10-year (3640-day) fixed-coupon government bond with a 13.85 percent coupon payment every 6 months was carried out. The simple interest rate in the auction was 28 percent, and the compound interest rate was 29.95 percent.

In the auction where the nominal bid reached 38 billion 457.8 million lira, the nominal sale was 10 billion 681.1 million lira, and the net sale was 10 billion 576.7 million lira.

In the auction where no bids were received from the public sector, 10 billion 12.5 million lira in bids were received from market makers, and 6 billion lira in sales were made to this segment.

Thus, the Treasury borrowed 28 billion 582.2 million lira in 2 auctions.
