Treasury borrows again
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed 14 billion 633.6 million liras through a bond auction held today.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance conducted a re-issuance of a 2-year (665-day) fixed-coupon government bond with a 6.3 percent coupon payment every 6 months.
In the auction, the simple interest rate was 37.07 percent, and the compound interest rate was 40.51 percent.
In the auction, where nominal bids reached 50 billion 32 million liras, nominal sales amounted to 10 billion 185 million liras, and net sales were 7 billion 283.6 million liras.
In the auction, where the entire 350 million lira bid from the public sector was met, 12 billion 787 million liras in bids were received from market makers, and 7 billion liras were sold to this segment.
Thus, the Treasury borrowed 14 billion 633.6 million liras.
