Treasury continues to run a budget deficit
The Treasury cash balance recorded a deficit of 430 billion 948 million liras last month.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has announced the cash realizations for June.
Accordingly, the Treasury's cash revenues were 554 billion 550 million liras, while cash expenditures were 985 billion 498 million liras last month.
Non-interest expenditures amounted to 889 billion 89 million liras, while interest payments totaled 96 billion 409 million liras. The non-interest balance recorded a deficit of 334 billion 539 million liras.
In June, the cash balance saw a deficit of 430 billion 948 million liras.
While the increase resulting from exchange rate differences was 2 billion 816 million liras, a decrease of 256 billion 838 million liras was observed in the net cash/bank account.
