Treasury issues lease certificates
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance will conduct a 5-year fixed-income lease certificate issuance as of March 19, 2024. In its statement, the Ministry highlighted the importance of ensuring domestic savings and also touched upon the increase in financing instruments.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance will conduct an issuance of TL-denominated fixed-rent lease certificates with a value date of March 20, 2024.
The statement made by the Treasury is as follows:
"In order to increase domestic savings, expand the investor base, and diversify financing instruments, an issuance of TL-denominated fixed-rent lease certificates with a value date of March 20, 2024, will be carried out. The lease certificate issuance will be conducted through a direct sales method to banks, and requests must be submitted to our Ministry via fax or e-mail by 14:00 on March 19, 2024, along with the signature circular of the personnel authorized to submit bids by your bank. The form regarding the requests is attached.
Information regarding the sales amounts will be transmitted to the banks entitled to purchase lease certificates by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey via the IHS (Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Payment Systems Tender System) on Tuesday, March 19, 2024"
