According to TÜİK data, inflation increased by 3.18 percent monthly in April, reaching 69.80 percent on an annual basis.
The change in the CPI (2003=100) in April 2024 was 3.18% compared to the previous month, 18.72% compared to December of the previous year, 69.80% compared to the same month of the previous year, and 59.64% based on twelve-month averages.

The main group that showed the lowest increase compared to the same month of the previous year was clothing and footwear at 51.20%.

In terms of main expenditure groups, the main group that showed the lowest increase in April 2024 compared to the previous month was health at 1.03%.

Additionally, ENAG had announced that inflation increased by 5.02 percent in April, and was 124.35 percent on an annual basis.
