According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the economic confidence index was measured at 94.4 in July, while it decreased by 1.3 percent in August to 93.1.
Compared to July, the consumer confidence index increased by 0.6 percent to 76.4 in August, the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 0.7 percent to 98, and the services sector confidence index decreased by 2 percent to 111.8.
The retail trade sector confidence index increased by 0.8 percent to 107.9, and the construction sector confidence index increased by 1.1 percent to 88.
