Turkey is the most expensive country for the iPhone 17 Pro
According to a study covering 41 countries, the 256 GB iPhone 17 Pro is sold for 2,592 dollars in Turkey; Japan emerged as the cheapest market.
Deutsche Bank's "Mapping the World’s Prices 2026" report has revealed how wide the gap in iPhone prices has become between countries. The report compared the official retail prices of the 256 GB iPhone 17 Pro model across 41 countries.
According to the research, Turkey topped the list with a price of 2,592 dollars. This amount is approximately 2.2 times the price in the US, which was calculated at 1,181 dollars for the same model.
Turkey was followed by Brazil at 2,260 dollars, Egypt at 1,872 dollars, Hungary at 1,826 dollars, and Norway at 1,687 dollars. Mexico, Sweden, Poland, Czechia, and Finland also appeared in the top 10.

While South Korea was found at the bottom of the list with a price of 1,181 dollars, matching the US, the lowest price was recorded in Japan at 1,121 dollars.
ALSO ABOVE THE US IN EUROPE
According to the report, iPhone 17 Pro prices in major European economies are also significantly higher than in the US. The device is sold for 1,508 dollars in Germany and Austria, 1,531 dollars in Spain, and 1,543 dollars in France and the Netherlands. In the United Kingdom, the price stands at 1,476 dollars.
Deutsche Bank stated in the study that prices were compiled from official Apple stores and authorized online sales channels in each country; in markets where official pricing was unavailable, data from reliable local retailers was used.
The report noted that the differences between countries are influenced by factors such as tax burdens, exchange rates, import costs, and corporate pricing policies.
