Turkey's external debt stock data released
According to data released by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Turkey's gross external debt stock stood at 525.8 billion dollars as of September 30, while the net external debt stock was 265.4 billion dollars. The Treasury-guaranteed external debt stock amounted to 17.2 billion dollars, and the public net debt stock was recorded at 6 trillion 706 billion liras for this period.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced that Turkey's gross external debt stock was 525.8 billion dollars and its net external debt stock was 265.4 billion dollars as of September 30.
The Ministry released data on gross and net external debt stock, Treasury-guaranteed external debt stock, public net debt stock, and the European Union (EU)-defined general government debt stock as of September 30.
Accordingly, Turkey's gross external debt stock stood at 525.8 billion dollars, with the ratio of the stock to the national income at 41.7 percent. On the same date, the net external debt stock was recorded at 265.4 billion dollars. The ratio of this stock to the national income was determined to be 21.1 percent.
The Treasury-guaranteed external debt stock was calculated at 17.2 billion dollars.
The public net debt stock was recorded at 6 trillion 706 billion liras for this period. The ratio of the stock to the national income was determined as 17.1 percent.
The EU-defined general government debt stock was 10 trillion 22 billion liras, and the ratio of this figure to the national income was 25.6 percent.
