Turkey's major fuel brand sold! Here is the new owner

With Zeren Group transferring Alpet to Nakkaş Holding, it was stated that the sales process is subject to the approval of the Competition Authority. It was learned that after approval is obtained, the two groups aim to expand their cooperation. In addition to Alpet, Zeren Group had also incorporated Atak Madeni Yağlar and Ecogaz, and aimed to become a significant fuel distribution group in Turkey and the Balkans in the long term.

Since its establishment in 2001, Alpet has been serving with more than 300 stations and 5 filling facilities across Turkey. It also has approximately 60 stations in Albania and possesses one of the largest fuel storage capacities in Turkey.

Zeren Group was founded in 1973 by Rıdvan Zeren and continues to grow in the energy and furniture sectors. The group carries out its activities with brands such as Zeren Energy, Alfemo, and MYZ Co Charge. Mustafa Yiğit Zeren is in charge of the company's management.

Nakkaş Holding, on the other hand, was founded in 1983 and draws attention with its deep-rooted history. The holding, whose foundations were laid with companies such as Öztreyler and Öz-Çay, operates today with 16 companies in fields such as oil, renewable energy, and mining. Under the leadership of Chairman of the Board Ramazan Öztürk, it holds a strong position in the sector with companies such as Türk Ytong and Transpet. Serving with 61 fuel and LPG stations across Turkey, the group plays an important role in oil trade between Turkey and northern Iraq through Transpet.
