Turkey's risk premium revealed ahead of Central Bank's interest rate decision

Turkey's five-year credit default swap (CDS), which indicates the country's creditworthiness and is referred to as the risk premium, rose by 18.6 basis points to 341 points, thus reaching its peak in approximately 3.5 months.
Turkey's 5-year CDS premiums had started the new day at 323 basis points.
On Thursday, March 21, 2024, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) Monetary Policy Committee will meet under the chairmanship of Fatih Karahan. The TCMB will announce its interest rate decision on the same day at 14:00.
