The unemployment rate in the Eurozone fell to 6.4 percent in January. The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has released the January unemployment data for the European Union (EU) and the Eurozone.
In the EU, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, which was 6 percent in December, remained unchanged in January.
In the Eurozone, the unemployment rate, which was 6.5 percent in December, fell to 6.4 percent in January. The unemployment rate was measured at 6.6 percent in the Eurozone and 6.1 percent in the EU in January 2023.
In January, the unemployment rate was determined to be 11.6 percent in Spain, 10.4 percent in Greece, 8.1 percent in Sweden, and 7.5 percent in France.
