Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz meets with investors

Yılmaz continues his contacts in London, the capital of the United Kingdom. Cevdet Yılmaz met with international investors at the program titled “Investments in and Around Turkey and the Outlook for Private Equity Going Public in 2024 and Beyond,” organized by Globalturk Capital in cooperation with the London Stock Exchange, where he shared his views on Turkey’s 2024 outlook, macro policies, and investment climate.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz meets with investors

Stating that despite the slowdown in the global economy, Turkey has strengthened its position as a resilient player in global value chains with policies supporting growth, Yılmaz said, “Over the last 20 years, Turkey has shown remarkable economic growth with an annual average rate of 5.4% and has extended its period of uninterrupted growth to 13 years. 

We continue to implement our Medium-Term Program, which covers the 2024-2026 period, with determination, and we are seeing the positive results of our monetary and fiscal policies. Investor confidence is increasing with the policies we are implementing with determination and the positive developments in the economic stability environment.”

"TURKEY PURSUES INVESTMENT-FRIENDLY POLICIES"

Stating that Turkey pursues investment-friendly policies regarding the movements of foreign investors by saying, “Turkey offers many opportunities for foreign direct investment in many sectors with its resilient and fast-growing economy, investment-friendly policies, qualified labor pool, geostrategic location, and strong infrastructure,” Vice President Yılmaz said, “We continue to implement various structural reforms and action plans to further improve the investment climate and increase predictability. 

In the coming period, we will increase the quality and diversity of investments to be made in our country. Under the leadership of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey will maintain its central position in international trade and continue to attract significant investments.”

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz concluded his address by thanking Globalturk Capital and the London Stock Exchange.
