The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) will announce its policy rate for July on Thursday at 14:00. Economists anticipate that the TCMB will lower the interest rate by 250 basis points to 43.50 percent at this meeting.

The median estimate of the survey is that the interest rate will be reduced by 250 basis points to 43.50 percent.
The median of the economists' year-end policy rate expectations was set at 35 percent. In the Monetary Policy Committee (PPK) meeting held last June, the interest rate was kept constant at 46 percent.
