The 5,000 lira 100th-anniversary bonus, which was not initially granted to working retirees, was implemented through a new regulation following public backlash.
Action is being taken for the second payment schedule for the one-time bonuses to be paid to working retirees.
The regulation was expanded to include 4 million 689 thousand working retirees. Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that the payments will be completed by December 15.
