Which investment instruments gained the most and which lost this week?
Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul rose by an average of 5.21 percent on a weekly basis, and the gram price of gold increased by 2.75 percent, while the dollar/TL fell by 1.35 percent and the euro/TL decreased by 1.39 percent.
The BIST 100 index saw a low of 8,903.17 and a high of 9,618.83 points, ending the week at 9,618.83 points, gaining 5.21 percent compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar rose by 2.75 percent this week to 2,391 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold increased by 5.00 percent to 16,370 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 4,200 liras last weekend, rose to 4,309 liras.
This week, the US dollar lost 1.35 percent in value, falling to 31.9480 liras, while the euro declined by 1.39 percent to 34.5710 liras.
Investment funds lost 0.02 percent in value this week, while individual pension funds gained 1.16 percent. When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Stock Exchange Traded" funds with a gain of 1.42 percent.
