The Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) has announced that there have been no changes to the natural gas tariffs set for the month of March.
According to the tariff table published on BOTAŞ's official website, the prices for natural gas used by residential and industrial subscribers, as well as for electricity generation, have remained unchanged.
As of March, the natural gas sales price to be applied to distribution companies for residential subscribers has been set at 5,631 Turkish Lira per 1,000 cubic meters. While this tariff is 8,549 Turkish Lira for bread producers, the price of natural gas used for electricity generation has been announced as 12,000 Turkish Lira per 1,000 cubic meters.
BOTAŞ stated that natural gas prices are recalculated every month. In the announcement published on the institution's website, it was noted that, "Based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI) prices, the lowest natural gas price among European countries for residential use, after Ukraine, is applied in our country."
