Ziraat Bankası has issued a statement regarding loan allegations concerning Tera Yatırım that have surfaced on social media. The bank stated that claims suggesting a 600 million US dollar loan was extended to Tera Yatırım, that these funds were transferred to specific individuals and groups, and that the loan was not repaid do not reflect the truth.
In the statement released via the bank's social media account, it was emphasized that the allegations in question are “completely baseless.”
The claims appearing in some social media posts, suggesting that our Bank extended a 600 million US dollar loan to Tera Yatırım, that this resource was transferred to specific individuals and groups, and that the loan was not repaid, are completely baseless.
The statement further noted that a letter of guarantee issued by the bank to a public institution regarding Tera Yatırım's operational scope, within the context of its liquid assets, has been returned to the bank.
Ziraat Bankası also noted that Tera Yatırım has no cash or non-cash risk exposure with the bank.
