As reported by Webtekno citing Bloomberg, Apple is continuing its work to develop a series of new features for iOS 18 while also utilizing its own artificial intelligence model. However, it is noteworthy that Gemini would run directly on the device rather than being cloud-based.
For now, no statement has been made by either side regarding the matter. OpenAI refused to share any details regarding previous discussions. There are also no updates regarding Ajax, the large language model that Apple is working on.
