Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abidin Müslüm Baysal joins the 12punto writing staff!

One of the respected names in the art world, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abidin Müslüm Baysal, a figure known for his contributions to art and academic achievements, has joined the 12 Punto writing staff.

WHO IS ABİDİN MÜSLÜM BAYSAL?

Born in Istanbul and noted for his many years of experience in the field of visual arts, Baysal is known for his expertise in art history, contemporary art, and digital art.

Having completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting Education, Baysal earned his Proficiency in Art degree from the Yeditepe University Department of Plastic Arts with High Honors and attained the title of Associate Professor.

Since 2021, Baysal has been serving as the Head of the Painting Department and the Painting Main Art Branch at Şırnak University Faculty of Fine Arts, combining his passion for art with academic studies and artistic production.

Particularly known for his book titled "Deformation in the Art of Painting," the artist has presented papers and organized exhibitions at many national and international symposiums on topics such as the digitalization of art and the visual narrative of art in the age of globalization.
