Additional application right for candidates who missed the YKS deadline
According to the statement made by YÖK, YKS candidates will be able to make a second late application between March 25-28.
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has granted a second late application right for candidates of the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), which will be held on June 8-9, to prevent them from experiencing any grievances.
In the statement made by YÖK, it was noted that a new regulation was introduced due to the regulation published by the Council of Higher Education, which requires Turkish students who wish to enroll in universities abroad to take the YKS.
Accordingly, it was announced that a second late application right has been granted to prevent students from experiencing grievances, and that applications can be made between March 25-28.
Candidates will be able to apply through ÖSYM application centers, individually via the ÖSYM website, or through the ÖSYM Candidate Transactions Mobile Application.
The application information of candidates who applied for the exam between February 1-26, 2024, or March 5-7, 2024, will remain valid. No new applications will be accepted from candidates who applied during these dates.
