Breaking News: YKS results have been announced

The results of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (2024-YKS), organized by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) on June 8-9, have been announced.

ÖSYM President Bayram Ali Ersoy held a press conference regarding the 2024-YKS results.

Ersoy began his speech by recalling the July 15 coup attempt.

Stating that the first phase of the anxious wait that began with the completion of the YKS has ended today, and that they are announcing the 2024-YKS results awaited by more than 3 million candidates, Ersoy said that candidates can learn their results via the ÖSYM address https://sonuc.osym.gov.tr .

5 CANDIDATES FROM ISTANBUL RANKED FIRST

ÖSYM President Ersoy stated that with the announcement of the results, the top-ranking candidates have also been determined.

Congratulating the successful candidates, Ersoy emphasized that it is not possible to achieve success alone and noted the following:

"I would like to thank our mothers and fathers who provide the greatest support to our champions and are by their side at every moment, and our teachers who have not left them alone during this process and have guided them throughout their educational life. I wish our candidates continued success. I believe that they will complete their educational process in the best way possible and will serve in useful roles for our country, which has the ideal and goal of a 'Great Turkey again' and a 'New world'."

Ersoy announced the top-ranking candidates as follows:

"Our Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) first-place winner is Süleyman Mete Genç, Private Mersin Elit College Science High School-Mersin;

Our Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) first-place winners are, in the equal weight field, Berra Kuruş, Galatasaray University Galatasaray High School-Istanbul; in the numerical field, Arda Taşdemir, Cemil Meriç Science High School-Elazığ; in the verbal field, Fatih Emre Düzcan, Private Rize Bahçeşehir College Anatolian High School-Rize;

Our Foreign Language Test (YDT) first-place winners are, in German, Sevgi Kırmızıbekmez, Kabataş Boys' High School-Istanbul; in Arabic, Yusuf Salih Orhan, Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School-Istanbul; in French, Yunus Emre Aydoğan, Çapa Science High School-Istanbul; in English, Mehmet Alp Güneş, Istanbul Atatürk Science High School-Istanbul; in Russian, Safiye Yaşar, Ayrancı Anatolian High School-Ankara"

Asking candidates who have learned their results not to access the website repeatedly to avoid excessive load, Ersoy wished that the YKS results would be beneficial.
