Canteen cards to be provided to students in Istanbul: Governor Davut Gül announces the limit

The "Iftar Meeting with Sister Families" program, organized to support orphan families in Istanbul, was held with broad participation. The program, organized by the Istanbul Governorship, the Istanbul Children's Foundation, and the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, took place at the Taşyapı Event Area.

Speaking at the iftar program, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül reminded that the Istanbul Children's Foundation is a structure affiliated with the Governorship and stated that various social support activities for children are carried out through the foundation.

NEW CARD APPLICATION BEGINS

Announcing a new social support program in his speech, Gül provided information regarding the card system to be prepared for students. He stated that the application is aimed at contributing to meeting the basic needs of children who are continuing their education. Gül explained that the card will only be used in school canteens and that a balance will be loaded onto it regularly.

Continuing his speech, Gül stated that the rental support provided to families will also continue, and used the following expressions:

"We will give this card to our siblings who go to school. It will only be valid in the school canteen, and we will regularly load 2,000 Turkish Liras onto it every month, and it will be valid for your mandatory needs in the canteen, primarily food. From now on, we will continue to be by our children's side in every area they need, especially in their educational lives.

Just as in the past, we will continue to provide the monthly 20,000 Turkish Lira rental support from now on as well."
