Elon Musk to establish a new university in Texas

Elon Musk has once again showcased his ambitious goals in the field of education.

According to a report by Emre Ömer Zehir from Webtekno, the Texas-based entrepreneur Elon Musk has revealed his goal of establishing a new university by donating approximately 100 million dollars to The Foundation, a non-profit he established in 2022.

IT WILL BE STEM-FOCUSED

With this donation appearing in tax filings, it was stated that Musk plans to open institutions at the primary and secondary school levels that focus on STEM education through The Foundation.

At a more advanced stage, The Foundation will continue its efforts to establish a university providing high-level education by hiring experienced personnel. In addition to a traditional curriculum, this university will focus on student development through simulations, case studies, production projects, and laboratory experiments.

This initiative, which reflects the growing interest in educational opportunities in the technology sector in the Austin, Texas region, also recalls Musk's previous efforts in education. While SpaceX was headquartered in California, Musk established a school called Ad Astra to provide educational opportunities for his own children and those of his employees. Following Musk's relocation, this school was also transferred to Texas.
