Erdoğan appoints rectors to 13 universities
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has appointed rectors to 13 universities. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made appointments to the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and named rectors for 13 universities.
According to the appointment decisions published in the Official Gazette, Prof. Dr. İlhami Gülçin was appointed as Rector of Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University, Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu as Rector of Ardahan University, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın as Rector of Artvin Çoruh University, Prof. Dr. İdris Demir as Rector of Batman University, Prof. Dr. İsmail Burak Küntay as Rector of Beykoz University, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Elmastaş as Rector of Bitlis Eren University, Prof. Dr. Murat Koç as Rector of Çağ University, Prof. Dr. Oktay Yıldız as Rector of Gümüşhane University, Prof. Dr. Musa Gençcelep as Rector of Hakkari University, Prof. Dr. Rengin Ak as Rector of Kırklareli University, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman as Rector of Kilis 7 Aralık University, Prof. Dr. Turgay Uzun as Rector of Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, and Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör as Rector of Pamukkale University.
Additionally, Head of Strategy and Budget İbrahim Şenel was appointed as a member of YÖK.
