Affecting millions of students! When will report cards be distributed?

The final week before the end of the term in schools will be an 'End-of-Term Activity Week' to encourage students to participate in various activities.

The 'End-of-Term Activity Week' practice, which was launched last year under the instruction of Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, has been aligned with the Century of Turkey Education Model this year. Focusing on social, cultural, and artistic development alongside academic success, the activities aim to support the multifaceted development of students.

ACTIVITIES WILL BE ORGANIZED COLLABORATIVELY

The Ministry has published an implementation guide for the activities. According to the guide, the activities will be organized through the cooperation of schools, teachers, parents, and students. The activities have been defined centrally via the e-School Social Activity Module. Information regarding students' activities will be included in their report cards, which will feature social activity content.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE END-OF-TERM ACTIVITY WEEK?

Monday, January 13

Talent Sharing Hour: Volunteer teachers and students will organize workshops, presentations, and talks.

Oratory Games-Debate: Students will participate in debates to improve their public speaking skills.

Quiz Competition: Every school will organize quiz competitions in classrooms.

Tuesday, January 14

Experience Sharing Talks: Expert speakers from various professional groups will meet with students.

Roles Discuss: Students will hold discussions based on roles regarding different topics.

Game Hour: Drama and board games will be played.

Wednesday, January 15

I Have an Idea Hour: Ideas will be exchanged on global and social issues.

Oratory Contest: Oratory contests will be organized between classes.

Documentary and Animation Screening: Documentaries and animations suitable for age groups will be shown.

Thursday, January 16

Share Kindness Hour: Students will discuss the concept of doing good deeds.

Word Games: Word games suitable for the grade level will be organized.

Exhibition: Work produced throughout the term will be exhibited.

REPORT CARDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON JANUARY 17

Following the activity week, which will conclude on Thursday, January 16, students will receive their report cards on Friday, January 17, and begin their semester break. For 1st-grade primary school students, a 'development report' containing social-emotional skills will be used instead of a traditional report card.
